Forever Flavour

Great flavour doesn’t happen on its own, it’s created by nature, our land and the people who help it grow. That’s why it’s important that we give back to nature as much as it provides to us, through responsible growing, whole-crop use, innovation and stronger British food systems. Our long term ambition is to make great flavour sustainable, we call it Forever Flavour.

Our strategy is built around four pillars of commitments, each with goals we want to achieve by 2030.

People & Partnerships

Investing in our people is not only the right thing to do, it’s smart business too. This pillar is about building a workplace where people feel safe, supported and set up to grow, and using that same care to also strengthen our local community and supply chain.

Our 2030 goals at a glance:

  • Become a Certified Living Wage Employer.
  • Build a culture of equity, safety and belonging for every employee.
  • Create more apprenticeships and training, for our own team and for young people across the Island.
  • Build a long-term, structured community and charitable giving programme to give back to our community here on the Isle of Wight.

Planet

The planet is our home, and the way we grow and consume food has a huge part to play in protecting it. This pillar is about going beyond doing less harm, and actively building a food system that restores and regenerates the natural world around it.

Our 2030 goals at a glance:

  • Create a Net Zero Plan and reduction strategy that reduces carbon emissions by 42% from the 2026 baseline year, in line with Science Based Target Initiatives (SBTi) and the UK's Net Zero Strategy.
  • Build a biodiversity action plan for the farm: hedgerows, wildlife corridors, and a home for honeybees.
  • Increase the proportion of our produce that's organic.
  • Track and report our water use every year.

What we grow is only half the story, how it's packaged, moved and used also matters just as much. This pillar is where reducing waste intersects with keeping quality high and making sure every tomato reaches people in the most sustainable way possible.

Our 2030 goals at a glance:

  • Reach zero food waste to landfill, donating or diverting everything we can't sell fresh.
  • 100% recyclable packaging and 70% recycled content in packaging against our baseline year of 2025.
  • Reduce the use of plastic in packing and fulfilment by 90%.

Purpose

A strong sustainability strategy that actually works needs structure, leadership and true accountability. This pillar is about how we govern our impact, keep progressing towards our goals and stay transparent as we grow.

Our 2030 goals at a glance:

  • Become a genuine leader in sustainable agriculture and food systems.
  • Make ethics and transparency a core value, with our policies published for anyone to see.
  • Maintain our B Corp certification throughout our recertification cycles.

Where we're headed
