Delivery

When will my order be delivered?

Our delivery days are Tuesday to Friday for mainland deliveries excluding select Scottish Regions & Islands. You have the option to choose your delivery date from those available at the checkout.

For our Isle of Wight customers, deliveries are made every week on a Thursday- (Order cut off time is midnight Tuesday)

For our Select Scottish Regions & Island customers- If you order before Monday 12pm your earliest available delivery day would be Thursday that week; order before Tuesday 12pm for a Friday delivery that week; after this you can select the following Wednesday as your earliest delivery day.

There is a problem with my order, what should I do?

We handpick and pack our tomatoes only when perfectly ripe to ensure they arrive looking and tasting at their best, so we're sorry to hear that something has gone wrong. Our friendly customer service team are always here to help put things right; we will ask for photos to help us investigate and resolve any problems. You can email us at [email protected] or give us a call on 01983 866907. Our team are here Monday to Friday 8:30am – 5:00pm.

Can I have my order delivered on a specific date?

When ordering online, you can select your delivery date at checkout. Please note that as we supply fresh produce that can depend on weekly harvests there may be occasions where a delivery date may have to be adjusted at short notice.

Please ensure that you only select from the offered delivery dates. If the date you require is not available please contact the team. Changes to the delivery date added into the delivery instructions section will not be accepted.

How much is delivery?

Delivery is free for orders over £35. A delivery charge of £5.50 applies to orders under £35. We deliver for free on the Isle of Wight. Minimum order £15.00. For more information, visit our Delivery page.

I’m having some problems processing my order

We’re sorry to hear that you are having some problems. Whilst visiting our site we would recommend using Google or Google Chrome for the best user experience. If you continue to have problems, please give our friendly customer service team a call on 01983 866907 and they will be happy to help.

What happens on Bank Holidays?

We are unable to dispatch orders on or for delivery on Bank Holidays, so please ensure you allow the additional time to receive your order. If you have a subscription it will automatically move to the next available delivery date for your convenience.

My Subscription

How do I set up a subscription?

You can set up your subscription when placing an order via the shop page. When adding a product to your basket, simply select ‘Subscribe’ and choose your preferred delivery frequency (every week, two weeks or 4 weeks)- You will need to sign in or register for an account to complete subscription set up.

What do you mean by processing date and can I change this date?

The processing date is when we will take payment for your subscription order and confirm your subscription order. Our team will then handpick and pack your order ready to arrive on your chosen delivery day. As soon as your order is on its way you will receive your despatch confirmation email.

To change your process date simply login to your account and head over to your subscription page. Here you can also select a delivery date up to 60 days in advance- we try to offer as much flexibility as possible for our subscribers.

How do I add or remove items in my subscription? Can I order one off items?

We offer a flexible subscription which you can add one off items as a once only addition to your next renewal or you can add or remove items as permanent additions (just ensure you do this before processing date).

To add a product to your subscription simply:

  1. Log in to your account and head to ‘My Subscriptions’ and select ‘Delivery Schedule’.
  2. Select ‘Add Subscription’ to add products as one-off additions or as subscribed items (ensure correct frequency is selected). 
  3. Products will automatically be added to your selected subscription renewal and will be charged at process date.
  4. To review your upcoming orders and changes head to ‘Delivery Schedule’ in ‘My Subscriptions’.

How do I skip or pause when I am on holiday etc.?

If you are going to be away and need to skip your next renewal for whatever reason you can easily do this anytime by logging in to your account and heading over to ‘My Subscriptions’.

Just select ‘Skip’ on each product in your subscription. This will skip your renewal once only and your subscription will automatically renew after that. If you wish to reschedule your subscription for a longer period of time you can select ‘Manage Subscription’ and then ‘Reschedule’- you can choose a date 60 days ahead of time to reschedule delivery.

Can I cancel my subscription?

Yes, you can amend or cancel your subscription by logging into your account and heading to ‘My Subscriptions’. Once here, you can amend or cancel your subscription.

Can I change my delivery day in my subscription?

Yes! Login to your account and head to ‘My Subscriptions’ and then select ‘Manage Subscription’ and then ‘Reschedule’. Here you can change your chosen delivery day to a day you prefer, we offer a delivery day from Tuesday to Friday if you are a mainland customer or Thursdays for Isle of Wight residents.

Can I adjust my subscription frequency?

Yes, simply login and head to ‘My Subscriptions’ and then select ‘Manage Subscription’. Here you can adjust the frequency of your subscription too if you feel like you need more or less you have the option of a weekly, fortnightly or every four weeks renewal.

How can I redeem my Reward Points against my subscription?

As a valued subscriber you earn double points with every subscription order.

You can redeem points by logging in and heading to your subscription page. Click on ‘My Rewards’ and select how you wish to redeem your points. You can redeem points in increments of £5 up to £25 at a time. If you choose to redeem points off of a subscription order the deduction will be made at the order processing date.

We also fund climate projects, and you can gift your reward points to plant trees with Ecologi. To do this just head over to your account page and click on ‘My Rewards’ to find out more. Here you can also view your reward points balance.

When do I recieve my free gift?

As a subscriber you will receive something new to try once a month- a free gift, on us! Starting with your first renewal, you'll receive a surprise item to try, carefully chosen to add something new and delightful to your experience as a valued subscriber.

Absolutely! Whether you’re trying us for the first time, topping up on your favourites, or sending a gift to someone you love, you can order as and when you fancy.

Our Nursery

Can I visit the site?

To ensure we protect our vines from infections and diseases, we are unable to host visitors to our site, but you can find us at lots of lovely stockists across the Island, or pop by and say hello at a Farmers Market near you! – head to our Where to Buy page to find out more.

Our Tomatoes

Are my tomatoes overripe?

All our tomatoes are carefully monitored by our expert growers, slow grown for maximum flavour and only picked when perfectly ripe. Some of our speciality heritage tomatoes are naturally soft and just need a delicate touch and a sharp knife for prepping.

Do you grow tomatoes all year?

Our season runs from March to October. During the winter, we have a carefully curated selection of Isle of Wight tomatoes for you to enjoy.

Are my green tomatoes underripe?

We believe that tomatoes don’t have to be red! That’s why we grow all colours of the rainbow, from yellow through to green and everything in between. When harvesting, our team ensure that every tomato is perfectly ripe including our visually stunning green varieties.

Product and packaging

Is your packaging recyclable?

We carefully consider all our packaging to ensure that it protects and preserves our products whilst minimising our impact on the environment. We use cardboard punnets and boxes to protect our fresh produce, all of which are recyclable. Any film used to supply our retail partners pre-packed tomatoes is widely recyclable with major supermarkets. Be sure to check in advance if they are accepting materials such as this.

Our sauces and condiments are packed in glass jars which can be reused or recycled. Just to let you know, to protect your tomatoes best in transit we use paper-based hive wrap and recycled shredded card which we shred ourselves, ensuring zero waste on site. You can recycle these along with the boxes.

Rewards Scheme

Do I automatically receive points?

To start earning points as you shop, you’ll need to join our reward scheme first – it’s free to join. To opt in simply head to your account and select ‘My Rewards’. (Just to let you know you’ll need to register for an Isle of Wight Tomatoes account before you can join...)

How many points do I need to earn before my first voucher?

You need 500 points to receive your £5 voucher or wait until you reach 1000 points to receive £10 off. You can also use your points to fund tree planting projects, in partnership with Ecologi. 600 points plants 25 trees. For more information about our partnership with Ecologi click here.
